These terms of use govern your use of the Tailwind Finance website and online portal (the “site”). The site is operated by Tailwind Finance Ltd (“Tailwind”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England and Wales, company no. 17257498.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.

We are a credit broker, not a lender, and we are not currently authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You agree not to:

• use the site in any way that breaks the law or could damage, disable or impair it;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any system or data connected to it;
• introduce any malicious code, or use any bot, scraper or automated means to access or collect data from the site without our permission;
• misuse the site by knowingly submitting false information or another person’s details without authority.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, or to any user, if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@tailwind-finance.co.uk if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may require you to use additional security, such as two-factor authentication, for certain actions.

We aim to keep the information on our site accurate and up to date, but we provide it for general information only. Any indicative tools — such as an eligibility check or pre-qualification result — give an indication only:

• they are not financial advice and not a personal recommendation;
• they are not an offer of finance and do not guarantee that any lender will make you an offer;
• actual outcomes depend on lender criteria, the information you provide, and a lender’s own credit decision.

When you make an application, connect your data, or ask us to approach lenders, that service is governed by our Terms of Business and Privacy Policy, which sit alongside these terms.

The site and its content — including text, design, graphics, logos and software — belong to Tailwind or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site for your own business purposes; you may not copy, republish or exploit our content for any other purpose without our permission.

We work to keep the site available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site at any time, and we will not be liable to you if the site is unavailable for any period.

Our site may link to websites we do not control — for example a lender’s site. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them. Please read the terms and privacy notice of any site you visit.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, or from reliance on any information or tool on it. The service we provide as your broker is covered separately by our Terms of Business.

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies we use are explained in our Cookie Policy. We use as few cookies as possible and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the site, our service, or the law. The version published on the site is the one that applies, so please check back when you use it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
